With just nine guests, an African American couple has shamed many Nigerian parents by hosting their wedding in their sitting room.
Two weeks before their big day, the film shows them getting ready and making plans.
The bride had gone flower shopping and styled the arrangements to her liking.
Along with moving their furniture out of the sitting room—where the wedding was scheduled to take place—the couple also fixed in draperies and a floor banner.
Overall, the couple appeared to be happy with their choice, since they had always intended a small wedding.

“Deep down, this is the kind of wedding I want—not the unnecessary chaos and drama you guys are putting on,” stated @EmaazDr.
“What is really needed for a marriage to take place?” inquired @OttonFCB. Just the couples’ families’ and parents’ approval, followed by government approval. That’s all, my friend! Everything else is essentially irrelevant.
According to @IBn_ibraheem14, “Na stinginess dey worry them.”
“Up until they met the bone of their bone that has like 150 friends and families,” @phanciey continued. “This is what all men wanted.”
“Can never be a Nigerian,” wrote @chefolami. They won’t be married if they don’t have a close road call across the nation.
