Nigerian ancestry has been revealed by Ghanaian Afro Pop and dancehall musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy.

Stonebwoy recently revealed to popular Nigerian influencer Ola of Lagos that he is a Nigerian and that his tribe, the Ewe, hails from the Oyo Kingdom.

He claims that his ancestor moved to Ghana from the southern region of Nigeria, allowing him to trace his ancestry back to the Oyo Kingdom of Nigeria.

“Me sef nah Niger, no lies,” he said. I’m Ewe from Oyo Kingdom; my tribe moved to Ghana from Nigeria, where we got Illesha. Check Ewe, we root directly to Yoruba, shout-out to my folks in the southern portion of Nigeria, Stonebwoy remarked.
