A Nigerian man is looking for guidance after his wife, who makes 1.2 million Nigerian Naira a month, requested a minimum allowance of 300,000 Naira a month, even though he pays for all home expenditures and the children’s tuition.
The man revealed in a post on the well-known social networking site X (previously Twitter) that he pays all of the costs, including the kids’ tuition and car gasoline, and that he even buys his wife presents when they go out.
Nevertheless, he disclosed that his spouse has demanded that he provide her a minimum of ₦300,000 per month.
He wrote….
“My wife earns ₦1.2 million per month. I foot almost all the bills in the house, pay for the kids’ school fees, fuel the cars, and buy the things she likes when we both go out. But right now, she’s insisting I should give her a monthly allowance of at least ₦300,000. Is it a necessity for me?”
