Sportswear company PUMA responded to Marc Cucurella’s gaffes during Chelsea’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Tottenham in a humorous way.
Spurs took a 2-0 lead thanks to two slips by the Chelsea defender in the first eleven minutes.
After Dejan Kulusevski’s goal, Cucurella changed his footwear right away, although the event was still discussed.
The left-back made light of his errors after the game by posting a picture of his PUMA footwear that had been thrown in a trash can.

PUMA responded by posting a picture of a “Caution Wet Floor” sign with Cucurella’s trademark bushy hairstyle online.
The caption that went with the photo said, “It’s not how you slip, it’s how you bounce back.”
Later on in the match, Cucurella made amends by helping Jadon Sancho score the goal that started Chelsea’s comeback from a 2-0 deficit.
Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez’s goals sealed the Blues’ win and kept them in the running for the championship.
Chelsea now sits four points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League standings after their victory.
