Five individuals have been charged with stealing a truckload of Milo products valued at N25 million in an Ogun State Ota Magistrates’ Court.
Temidire Ramon, 35; Aminu Yusuf, 26; Olusola Opadare, 35; Oludayo Adeleye, 38; and Amodu Jimoh, 51, are the defendants who were arraigned on Monday and are on trial for two counts of conspiracy and theft.
The prosecutor claims that the defendants committed the offenses at Agbara in Ogun on October 13, 2020.
According to Adaraloye, the defendants banded together and stole a truckload of Nestle Company-owned Milo products worth N25 million.
He pointed out that the offenses violated Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Ogun, 2006, Criminal Code Laws.
However, the defendants entered a not guilty plea to the accusation.
They were each given N500,000 in bail by Magistrate Mr. O.A. Onagoruwa, along with two sureties in an equivalent amount.
