According to reports, young lady died after refusing the donation of blood because of her religious convictions.

Tragic death of a Jehovah’s Witness woman who allegedly refused a life-saving blood transfusion.

A netizen going under the handle @MrsZanga reported the event online, revealing that the woman was her cousin.

Grave

The woman, who is a mother, reportedly refused the life-saving blood transfusion that was necessary.

It seems that undergoing the blood transfusion goes against her beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness.

After she refused the necessary medical treatment, Mrs. disclosed that the cousin had died.

According to @MrsZanga,

Three children were left behind when my relative passed away this morning. Four is the youngest 🥲.

Why did she die? Because she is a Jehovah’s Witness, she declined blood transfusions 💔💔💔😭😭.

Responses have ensued….

“This lunacy still dey happen?” inquired @Allezamani.

@highchart said: “I’m sorry for your loss, but I feel sorry for the children she left behind. 😩 If their relatives and aunts are decent enough to take care of them, God will lead and protect them.

In response, @MrsZanga said: “I’m afraid the siblings aren’t even talking to themselves. Even though they are all Jehovah’s Witnesses, they have been hostile toward one another for years 😭😭.

The portion of the Bible they study is beyond my comprehension 🤦🏾‍♀️.

@beaubobritton posted: “I experienced the same thing when working the night shift in the emergency room. I requested one of my female nursing friends to go in and talk to a woman who was literally bleeding out. She was able to convince the patient to accept a three-unit transfusion, which ultimately saved her life.

@Shedakpe”I remember when my dad’s late uncle was in this predicament,” the person disclosed. The family declined.
The doctor said he had another way to treat him, so he requested everyone to drop money.
Dr. gave him plenty of blood before daybreak.
He just said, “make una carry una father, he don’t do bad!” Haha!
