Nigerian boy got heartbroken after missing 2024 UTME due to wrong centre

A teenage student from Nigeria expresses his sadness about not being able to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 2024 after unintentionally going to the incorrect exam location.

In a six-minute TikTok video, @big_bombay3 described the incident and asked for help in getting things straightened out.

Inadvertently, he ended up at Comprehensive Academy instead of the Comprehensive High School in Aiyetoro, Ogun State, where his UTME was scheduled for Friday, April 19.

He was refused entry for being late even though he had arrived at the correct location by the time he realized his error.

There have since been a ton of suggestions in his comment section for resolving the issue with JAMB directly.

Reactions to the guy who missed the 2024 UTME because of the wrong exam center:

“Y not go to jamb office and complain,” stated Slimeni. It’s not as though you will dispute with them. Just ask, someone might be able to assist.

“Save yourself the stress instead of writing the JMB next year, simply work part-time,” E. said.

Go to the state JMB headquarters. They may still be able to reschedule for you, but you have to do this before the JMB exam is over, according to Baukeez. Good luck.

“Bro write mail to jamb and explain well to them they can help you with that,” Mayor FX wrote.
