A Nigerian woman comments on the popular story of Queen Mercy Atang and Lord Lamba, branding King David as a loser with a “scarcity mentality.”
As you may remember, a few weeks prior, Queen declared her engagement to King David, even though she was already pregnant by renowned comedian Lamba.
Barrister Rita contended that Queen Mercy’s companion is exhibiting a “scarcity mentality,” and that the mainstream media purposefully portrayed Lord Lamba as the loser.
She maintained that although the creator of the skit declined to wed her for reasons that are only known to him, Queen Atang offered her prime to Lord Lamba, whom she adores. As a result, she went back to “Mr Nice Guy,” whom she had previously dated and dumped despite having a child with another person.
Since then, her interpretation of the story has provoked a range of responses on social media, with some applauding her viewpoint and others criticizing it.
