An emotive account of her years-long journey wearing braces to rectify her dentition is shared by a Nigerian woman living in the UK, illustrating the difficulties she faced.
A Tiktok user going by the handle @Keemii used the app to publish a carousel of her experience from the time she decided to obtain one to the point at which she pulled it off.
Kemi claims that because of her teeth, gums, and swollen cheeks, the first day of wearing the braces felt the worst.
Eating and drinking grew increasingly difficult as time went on, but the positive outcome encouraged her to wear the braces for the whole five years.
When she revealed the outcome, the woman said that her confidence in smiling naturally had tripled and that it was a major accomplishment in her books.

Even so, I was pleased with the outcome. May marked the end of my retainer use, and I’m happy to report that my teeth still look fine.
