In reaction to allegations made against him by campaigner Verydarkman, who claimed that Ubi Franklin had conned a young artist, the musician has spoken up.
As previously reported by Gistreel, VeryDarkMan publicly charged Ubi Franklin with stealing from a budding artist who reached out to him for assistance.
According to VeryDarkMan, Ubi used the name of well-known afrobeat artist Davido on false pretenses and fraudulent promises to allegedly swindle a young artist of about 10.5 million Naira.
In response, Ubi Franklin said vehemently on Instagram that he would not be deterred by any scandal in the upcoming year. He declared that 2024 will bring him prosperity.
He penned
“This year is going to be great, I’m not tripping.”

Following his tweet, Spesh, Davido’s Hypeman, responded to the whole thing by sharing a meme video on Instagram that showed Ubi lashing out at his critics.
Not only did this move make Ubi smile, but it also made Davido, Isreal DMW, Kidwaya, and many others laugh uncontrollably.
