Reality TV personality Doyin David has explained to the public on social media why she no longer attends church.
Doyin responded to a post on Instablog about a US pastor who embezzled $1.3 million from churchgoers by posting on her Instagram story and saying that God had given him the order to do so.
She disclosed that she no longer attends church because of these kinds of incidents.
Doyin responded to the pastor’s remark by saying that certain churchgoers would support him regardless of what he did.
She said that the church these days almost requires you to be a simple idiot and that the standards are falling every day.
She concluded by admitting that God is truly forgiving.
As she put it: “People ask me why I no longer attend church. It’s because of silly things like this.” Imagine this person declaring that God commanded him to steal, and you will find members of his religion who would support this insane behavior. The bar is becoming increasingly low every day; it seems like you have to be really dim to be able to listen to some sermons these days. God is really merciful.
