Heartbreak: a youth corps member, having completed a five-year university degree, demonstrates the deteriorating PPA building.

Soon after graduating from university, a Nigerian youth corps member attracted attention on social media by posting pictures of his place of primary assignment (PPA), which was a run-down building.

The Nigerian man in the video disclosed that he had just finished a five-year program at a Nigerian institution and had been given a one-year service assignment at Highflyers High School in Ikare Akoko.

He did, however, record his displeasure with the building’s design and its environs in a video that was posted on social media.

“After slogging through school for five years, someone gets assigned to serve at a place like this,” the video’s caption stated. Ikare Akoko’s Highflyers High School fell short of expectations.

Social media users were drawn to his statement and the films he posted, and many of them left comments with their opinions.
