Well-known Nigerian singer Spyro has revealed his ideal marriage partner.
In a recent Hip TV interview, the singer—who gained notoriety after releasing his hit song “Who’s your guy”—made this revelation.
He disclosed that he is looking for a woman who knows Jesus and has a fear of God. He mockingly referred to these women as “Jesus’ villains.”
He quoted:
“A wicked guy from Jesus is my pet. My spec is to know God but to be a badass. You know God, so don’t settle for mediocrity. Both your appearance and your speech should be polished. Engage in the vices of the world, but only for your spouse.
In response to those who pushed him to pick between secular and gospel music, he said that his secular songs are written so that they can be performed anywhere without violating his moral principles.
Spyro stated:
Every action you take in life will inevitably draw criticism. And all we need to do is decide. You can be described as either hot or cool. You can either be a follower of God or not.
“I’ve always understood, even before today, that people will criticize me for the things I stand for. However, that does not imply that it will alter. I’m a musician and a Christian. In your line of work, you can represent God as a banker. I’m claiming to love God and to be a voice for him on this platform. That does not imply that I should not carry out my business.
