Well-known Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing corrects the record when she addresses speculations about her engagement to her youthful partner following sightings of her wedding ring.
After internet users noticed the actress wearing a ring on her ring finger, many came to the conclusion that she had been asked out.
She refuted the rumors, saying that she is merely a ring enthusiast who is utilizing the performance to promote her accessories company.
Nkechi warned against believing that just because a ring is on her finger, it means she’s engaged.
Says she:
“This will be my final statement, and I won’t make it again. I ask that you refrain from commenting words like “Oh congratulations, oh dem do finally engage her” whenever you see me wearing rings, especially on this finger.
“Even when I’m single, you go see a ring for this finger, and when I’m in a relationship, you go see a ring for this finger. I’ve stated it many times: I love wearing rings on my fingers, and it shouldn’t be your concern where I choose to wear them.
“Guys, give me a break. What’s this? Thus, please swing by and write them a congratulations. Simply put, I adore it and cannot live without it, even if you find it problematic.
